This blog is maintained by Wendi Dunlap, who lives happily in North Beacon Hill (Wendi’s a Seattle native and graduate of Nathan Hale High School in the Lake City neighborhood). Wendi has hosted the “beaconhill” email list for the neighborhood since 1999, first at slumberland.org, then at beaconhill.seattle.wa.us. Wendi has previous experience with city and neighborhood websites, as the original author and editor of Seattle, the Emerald City at seattle.net, which was a 1996 Seattle Times “Best of the Web” winner in the Local Website category.
Additional contributors to the blog include melissajonas (columnist, “Walking with Tica”), and occasionally other members of the community who submit articles to be posted.
The blog includes news, feature, and editorial posts of interest to all those who live in and love Beacon Hill. Do you have something to contribute? Email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have photos to contribute, you may also post them to the Beacon Hill Blog photo pool on Flickr.
