According to the Seattle School District website, school will start two hours late today, and buses will be on snow routes. No Head Start, preschool, half-day kindergarten, morning breakfast service, or door-to-door service. Full day kindergarten will have a two-hour delay.

That’s a lot more sensible (2 hour delay) then automaticly throwing the towel down just because of an inch of snow unlike what happens in Washington DC or Baltimore.
