- Craig Thompson brings more sad news via the BAN list: Flinnor “Papa” Kimmons passed away June 9th. Mr. and Mrs. Kimmons were said to be the first African Americans to own a home on North Beacon Hill.

Scott Kelby’s Adobe-sponsored Worldwide Photo Walk coming up on July 18th is a two-hour social event where photographers get together to walk around, shoot photos, and generally have fun with other photographers. I would love to go on the photo walk, but I’m out of town that day. In a strange twist of fate I just started a new group pool on flickr for Jefferson Park. Maybe if people are feeling generous they could share their photos?
