Fun at the Piñata Party

There was much fun to be had at yesterday’s Piñata Party at Stevens Place Park, including music, dance, and martial arts performances, donut fishing and face painting for the kids, tasty potluck food, and of course, the piñatas. Here are some views of the festivities, and a couple of videos, too.

  1. Another great Pinata Party experience, this makes either 9th or tenth annual.

Thanks for the great coverage, but the “potluck” was mostly due to the generousity of local businesses like: Red Apple Market, El Quetzal, Kusina Filipina, Sharon’s Lutong Bhay, Inay’s, La Cabanna, La Bendiction,Odawalla, and please forgive me whoever else I forgot.

  2. Thank you! I knew it was supposed to be a potluck from the pre-event announcements, but didn’t know so many businesses provided food.

  3. I’m new to the neighborhood and my mom was visiting from out-of-state, so I thought this would be a fun event for her and my almost 1 year-old daughter. Mom/Grandma was totally impressed by the friendliness of folks; baby loved the music and other kids; and a local friend who joined us was wowed by the neighborhood and kid-friendly event. All in all, a lovely afternoon. Thank you. We’re already looking forward to next year’s party!
