“The owners of the building at 3210 Beacon Ave have been restoring their building and uncovered this AWESOME vintage mural, I hope they can figure out a way to keep it. I couldn’t get far enough back for a good photo so I collaged several together. You should go see it in person.”
Awww, that brings back memories not that ancient. I remember the Hansen Baking Company
on lower Queen Anne. The building was basically at Mercer and Queen Anne Ave.
the Bakery made Sunbeam Bread as the vintage sign shows. I believe in the nineties
the building was bulldozed and made way for a bar called Jake O’Shawnesee’s?
They baked very good pastries and the breads with “Little Miss Sunbeam” as an
advertisement for the bread.
These are memories and may be subject to differing facts. L L NBH
Very cool! Thanks for sharing, Joel!
Lenny, see some info about the Hansen Bakery building at this link. There is a Metropolitan Market there now.
