At dusk (around 8:30) on Friday, August 24, Jefferson Community Center will present Star Wars outdoors at Jefferson Park amphitheater. The show is free, but concessions will be available, with proceeds to benefit Jefferson Community Center Teen Programs.

Thank you, Brian, for asking the question. Those FBI warnings at the beginning of videos actually put people at legal risk if they ignore them.
It is my understanding that Lucas Films will not allow public showings of the Star Wars movies. We have tried in the past, but never received permission.
Great turn out last night. Hopefully we can have a whole series next summer. I was disappointed it was in the ampitheater though. Well worth the walk for darker sky and no tennis court lights.
